200 Hits!
January 8, 2008 by Basil Munroe Godevenos
Some time between when I went to bed last night and when I woke up this morning the hit count on ARitU crested 200!
That’s a big deal for a rinky-dink fiction blog by someone who is considerably less than famous.
I have no way of telling how many people actually read the stories on a regular basis - I know of at least two - but I would have a better idea if you all posted a comment every now and then. I’m not looking for pats on the back exclusively. I want constructive criticism (non-constructive criticism might make it through as well, if it’s entertaining enough!).
You see, you are witnessing the first stage of the writing process. I have further plans for the stories that appear here, which I’ve alluded to a few posts back. These are really just first drafts. And when I’m editing them later, I’ll pay attention to your comments. So by offering your opinions (positive and negative) you’ll really be helping me out.
Don’t feel obligated to post something about every chapter, but if something strikes you as exceptionally good, or you see a way to improve something, or if I’m barking up an empty tree for a few chapters, let me know!
Here’s to 200 more hits!
